About Votapex
Votapex is a purpose-built online voting and meeting governance platform designed for Toastmasters District Councils, and other formal decision-making meetings. Managing the complete voting process - from delegate registration, credentialing and vote allocation through to quorum management, elections, motions, live voting, scrutineering and results.
Designed around the practical requirements of Toastmasters governance, Votapex supports online, hybrid and in-person meetings while giving meeting administrators the tools and real-time information they need to run an orderly, transparent and auditable Council Meeting.
Rather than simply providing an electronic ballot, Votapex brings the people, process and technology of District Council together in one managed platform.
Our Story
Inspired by the needs of our clients, particularly in the Toastmasters community, we developed Votapex as a solution for running large governance-based meetings.
Our story began in 2019 with a question from our then-District Director: "Can you design something better for us to use next time?". Since then, we've iterated and refined the platform based on feedback from every District Council meeting.
Over several years of development and refinement, Votapex evolved into the platform we know today. We're proud to have launched globally in August 2025 at the Toastmasters International Convention in Philadelphia, supporting clients across the globe ever since.

Dani Streets BCom DTM
Director, Communications and Culture
Drives stakeholder engagement, organisational culture and clear, consistent communication
As a strategic communications and stakeholder engagement leader, Dani helps shape how Votapex connects with clients, partners, and the broader community. With experience in government, non-profit, education, and private sector organisations, including roles across start-ups, community organisations, and multinational enterprises, Dani brings broad expertise in organisational communication, customer engagement, relationship management, and community building. Outside of work, Dani enjoys music, comedy, and bringing people together over good food whenever she gets the chance.
TK Stoneman LLB/BSci, LLM
Director, Corporate Affairs and Risk
Oversees external affairs and risk to protect and position the organisation
As a risk aware all-rounder, TK uses their legal background to support Votapex's operations and provide guidance on its future direction. With experience in federal organisations and emergency services, as well as a career in Advancement Services, she has expertise in identifying and mitigating risks. In their role, TK has created risk matrices and guidelines for assessing risk, as well as other policies and procedures used by Votapex to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. In their spare time TK can be found playing TTRPGs with their friends, reading and writing, or working with wool - spinning, knitting, or crocheting.
Rebecca Plush BEc BComm MMgt DTM
Director, Governance and Reporting
Ensures governance, compliance, and reporting frameworks to uphold accountability and integrity
As a governance professional and long-term District Parliamentarian, Rebecca uses her skills and experience to ensure Votapex meets all governance requirements and maintains the highest ethical standards. With experience in large public sector and private sector organisations, she has extensive experience implementing process improvements and turning policy into practical plans and processes. Outside of work, Rebecca helps organise CANCON (a gaming convention held annually in Canberra, Australia), enjoys board games with friends, computer gaming, and TTRPGs.
Michael Fenton DTM
Director, Technology and Products
Leads the design, delivery and evolution of Votapex's technology and product platforms
As a technology professional with experience spanning enterprise systems, data governance, cloud hosting environments, software implementation, systems integration, customer-facing applications, and policy development, Michael oversees the ongoing development, delivery, and operational management of the platform. He focuses on building stable, practical, and user-friendly systems that support live governance events worldwide. Outside of work, he is a long-term Toastmasters member who enjoys supporting educational and community initiatives, exploring technology projects, and pursuing the occasional overly ambitious idea.
